About Whitfield House
Discover Whitfield House, a stunning retreat in the heart of Kent's "Garden of England." Set on 28 private acres bordering a charming village, you'll feel instant tranquillity when you arrive. Explore the pristine countryside surrounding the property, with its picture-perfect villages, fruit-filled orchards, and historic hop gardens. This rich land supports award-winning local vineyards and farms, producing exceptional ingredients for our professional chefs' thoughtfully curated meals. The Grade II-listed Tudor Hall House is a character-filled historic home that creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Retreat Schedule Highlights
Over three unforgettable days, guests will enjoy a curated blend of wellness, gastronomy, and exploration.Arrival is on Friday, 4 July, 2:45-6:00 pm. Please do not arrive early, as the house is unavailable.
Please have lunch before you arrive. We will have yoga before dinner.
Check-out is Sunday, 6 July, at 4:00 pm
Day 1

Arrive at your leisure and take the time to settle in and get comfortable. The weekend will kick off with a light yoga session guided by Kate Francis. Dinner is catered and served family style with a wine pairing of local wines and an educational session. We suggest you eat before arriving to the retreat!
Day 2
-
Begin with a wholesome breakfast followed by yoga with Kate. Enjoy the grounds or a personalised stretch in the early afternoon with Stretchologist and Eat Move Sleep Founder Rachele Gilman. In the afternoon, a catered 3-course lunch brings everyone together to socialise and recharge. Relax in the early afternoon or try a HIIT workout with Sapan Sehgal from London Fields Fitness. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a tasting menu from the local Green Michelin Star restaurant, Small Holdings.

Equipment
Whitfield House provides yoga mats. The sauna and pool will be open, and we will have time for open-water fun during the weekend. If you fancy trying out some water activities or river swimming (it is a safe water spot), please bring extra kit. Whitfield House has pool towels, but bring extras and spare clothes and/or beach shoes if needed.
Kit List
Please note you will have access to laundry facilities during the weekend (washing machine and tumble dryer). Towels are provided in bathrooms and for swimming. We do not have hairdryers in each room.

You may shower/change several times a day so we recommend bringing enough workout kit for 3 x Yoga classes and 2 x HIIT classes

By Car
Please use the pin drop below for precise directions. If you use sat nav, please note that it may take you to a neighbour's house, “Whitfield Cottage." If this has happened, please travel further along High Halden Road, where you will see Whitfield House driveway with a sign to that effect at the main gate.

By Train:
Headcorn train station is a 15-minute drive from Whitfield House. Twice-hour trains from London Charing Cross/Waterloo and London Bridge take approximately 1 hour. Taking the train at approximately 2:33 pm will help you make the most of Friday's plans.
Ashford International Station (from Stratford or St Pancras) also provides a 38-minute high-speed train journey; however, you will have a longer and more expensive taxi transfer from the station to Whitfield House. Taxis from Ashford can be pre-booked but are also available on exit from the taxi rank at Ashford Station.

RETREATS
Booking and Deposit
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
The deposit amount will be specified during the booking process and may vary based on the event or package.
Payment Deadline
Full payment for the event or package must be made at least 30 days prior to the event start date.
If full payment is not received by the due date, the booking may be subject to cancellation, and the non-refundable deposit will be forfeited.
Cancellation by Client
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible.
Cancellation fees will be determined based on the amount paid at the time of cancellation and the proximity to the event start date.
Refund Policy
Non-refundable Deposit: The initial booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Cancellation 60+ days prior to event start: If you cancel 60 days or more before the event start date, any payments made above the non-refundable deposit will be refunded.
Cancellation between 30-59 days prior to event start: If you cancel between 30 to 59 days before the event start date, a 50% refund of the total amount paid (excluding the non-refundable deposit) will be issued.
Cancellation less than 30 days prior to event start: If you cancel less than 30 days before the event start date, no refund will be issued, and all payments will be forfeited.
Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after the cancellation request is received and approved.
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
Cancellation by Company
In the unlikely event that the company must cancel the event or package due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of all payments, including the deposit, will be issued.
The company will not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by the client, such as travel arrangements or accommodations.
Changes to Itinerary
Minor changes to the itinerary may occur and do not qualify for refunds.
Major changes will be communicated promptly, with options for partial refunds or rescheduling.
Health and Safety
Clients must disclose any health conditions that might affect participation. No refunds will be given for undisclosed health issues.
Failure to comply with safety guidelines may result in removal from the retreat without refund.
COVID-19 Policies
Compliance with all testing and vaccination requirements is mandatory. Positive test results may impact participation and are subject to the cancellation policy.
Quarantine or travel restrictions may affect participation; partial refunds or rescheduling options may be offered based on circumstances and at the discretion of Eat Move Sleep Retreat.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is required on all overnight events to protect your investment and cover any unforeseen circumstances that may lead to cancellation.

Kate teaches vinyasa flow which incorporates a range of both gentle and more dynamic yoga moves in a supportive environment. Kate's style of teaching is always open, inclusive, relaxed and fun! The Yoga classes are suited to all levels and abilities, with a focus on building strength and flexibility in the body, whilst helping to quieten the mind
Movement with Sapan
Sapan Sehgal is a leading figure in the fitness industry; described as a “total star” by The Times and “the anti-personal trainer” by the BBC.
Sapan’s innovative technique and charming personality is undeniable, earning him a starring role as one of London’s top 3 personal trainers in the BBC television series Best In Town. He is London’s go-to fitness expert and consultant, contributing to numerous media outlets including Women’s Fitness, Women’s Health, Coach Mag and The Debrief.
Sapan founded the vibrant and cutting edge London Fields Fitness Studio in 2010 after working as a model and a top trainer in one of London’s most successful commercial gyms. Hailed by Time Out as “The friendliest workout space imaginable", Sapan's mission is keeping fitness fun, affordable and accessible to all. He has developed a unique style of training -The London Fields Method, a combination of bodyweight-centric exercises that can be replicated at home without a penny.

Stretch with Rachele
I'm Rachele, Founder of stretch inc. and Eat Move Sleep Retreat.
I’m an expert stretchologist with a passion for helping people stay mobile. Stretching our bodies—and our minds—keeps us active and healthy. It's never too late to start, no matter your fitness level or flexibility.
My yoga journey began in 2005. I used it as a space to relieve tension, warm up (I love a hot yoga room), and quiet my mind. But the realities of my job meant yoga was only a temporary relief. I needed more, so in 2010, I became a certified yoga instructor. Over the next 10 years, I deepened my practice, striving for balance (both physically and metaphorically), and focused on my passion as a teacher—making yoga accessible to everyone.
Along the way, I discovered many misconceptions between yoga and stretching and unravelled some deep fears that hold people back. My new passion is dismantling those misconceptions and removing the labels that often seem intimidating or prevent people from starting their own movement practice.
As a stretchologist, I focus on mobility—helping you find the sweet spot between fitness and flexibility. It’s that place that improves your day and your life. Simply put, stretching is critical to maintaining mobility for life. It helps us do more and live better for longer.

The Small Holding
There's a rustic, farmhouse-like feel to this former village pub run by two brothers. The team's focus is firmly on self-sufficiency, growing an array of fruit and vegetables on their own land, using no-dig and low-intervention methods. This seasonal produce heavily informs the monthly changing tasting menu, which blends British and Nordic culinary influences in dishes that have bold, well-balanced flavours and lots of personality.
